This is the second book in the Deer Tales series. This story is about Lori White Cloud and her interest in hunting and trapshooting. Lori competes against two school bullies in a shooting contest. Afterward, Lori also goes on her first deer hunt. This book stresses gun safety, hunter ethics, and sportsmanship, and portrays hunters as moral and law-abiding.
